Homeschool co-ops have been around for a long time. The word co-op literally means “to cooperate” and that’s what successful co-ops do. Parents pool their resources and talents for the benefit of ev

REACH was created as a supplement to the primary education done in the home. Our goal is to encourage independent homeschooling, while at the same time provide opportunities for families to connect, grow, and learn together.

Quite honestly, REACH was started as a result of a need in the families of the Leadership Team; a need for relationship. The Lord used that desire to open our eyes to a broader need seen within the homeschooling community—and that is the need for friendships and encouragement.

Relationships are every bit as important through the high school years as they are in the early years of homeschooling, and when parents are connected with others who are homeschooling, they too are encouraged and the likelihood that they will continue homeschooling through the high school years increases tremendously.

REACH is also about creating opportunities for parents to teach classes that they are passionate about. Parent-taught classes remind parents that they really can teach their own kids. Every semester, our kids are on the edge of their seats waiting to find out which classes they get to participate in. Drama, science, photography, drawing, creative writing, and dance are just a few of the classes that have been offered. And when homeschooling parents are able to share their gifts, their joys, and even their struggles in this type of a setting, we’ve seen lasting relationships created. This community is really about creating stronger families, happier kids, and moms who are likely to finish the course, all the way from diapers to diplomas.

REACH members strive to work together to ensure that homeschoolers are not isolated but rather connected, and the life there bears witness to what can happen when families work together toward a common goal.

As Leadership Team members, we consider it a blessing to be a part of REACH! Please let us know if there is anything that we can do to support you and your family on your homeschool journey.
