What’s different about GSN? Why can’t I just go directly to the curriculum source?

The difference is that Global Student Network recognizes that homeschool parents are fully capable of teaching their own children, and our curriculum supports the student and parent towards academic success. Parents are always enrolled in the “teacher’s” module, so they have the answer keys to every single lesson.

Finding good quality curriculum is the most challenging aspect of homeschooling. Ask any homeschooler, and everybody has an opinion. GSN has taken the guesswork out of the process. The Global Courseware is simply the best online curriculum available for K-12 anywhere, bar none. It is only available to homeschoolers through GSN.

Isn’t online curriculum more expensive through GSN?

No, emphatically no. For almost 10 years, Global Student Network has been the leader in providing online curriculum directly to homeschoolers. We’ve chosen the very best online curriculum available, and because of our volume purchasing power can pass on significant savings to homeschool families. Most companies increase their prices over time. GSN continues to find ways to save homeschoolers money. We’ve always offered multiple student discounts, and rewarded homeschoolers for referring other homeschoolers. Starting in 2012, all GSN homeschool families saw at least 15% savings in their online curriculum costs.

What kind of support can I expect from GSN.

That’s a tough question to answer, but the short form is: The Right Amount. We have found that every homeschool family needs a different amount of support for their student’s academic success. GSN is the curriculum expert, and we hope we can help with any question regarding curriculum. More importantly, we’ve learned a lot of lessons from homeschoolers over the years, and we’re pleased to pass on what we’ve learned. Here’s some of the ways we support homeschoolers:

Documentation. One of the challenges of homeschooling is documenting the student’s academic success to lead to successful college or career development. See our “Homeschool Education Portfolio Section for more information on documenting your student’s work.

Course Progression and Selection: Homeschool students should be guided by graduation requirements of the school district or state they live in. We’re glad to help students navigate local requirements and select courses that lead them towards graduation.

Individualized Support. In other words, we’re here for you. We’ve got a lot of ways to communicate with you, and we’re always looking for new ways to support your homeschool needs. For new enrollment questions, use our toll free number, e-mail contact, or our Live Chat. You can also follow us on Facebook, Linked in, and Twitter. The only question we can’t try to answer is the one that you don’t ask.
