Aslan Academy

We are a Private Christian School which files a yearly affidavit with the state of California on behalf of ten to twenty-five families. Our Private School Satellite Program (PSP) allows parents to determine the curriculum, goals and timing of their children’s education.
Aslan Academy is a mid-north/West Orange County group (Los Alamitos, Garden Grove, Westminster, Stanton, Fountain Valley, and Huntington Beach). We do accept enrollment for people living in other Orange County cities, however, our park days and functions center in these mid-north/West Orange County areas.  If you live in one of the surrounding outskirt cities and join Aslan, please note that you are agreeing to participate in our park days, jr/sr high events, mom’s meetings, and ministry day activities that will on almost all occasions require driving to one of these mid-north/West Orange County locations.

Members are families in which both parents are professing, practicing Christians according to the Gospel and guidelines of the Holy Bible, and are Members (or Regular Attendees, if your church doesn’t have “membership”) of one church, with regular, weekly attendance (missing church only for illnesses, vacation, or other similar situations). Members also are families in which parents in the home are united in marriage and in agreement to home school their children.

Bakersfield HomeLearners

We are glad you have found us! We have relocated to: https://www.facebook.com/groups/215585051944899/

Bakersfield HomeLearners is an inclusive support group for homeschooling families living in the Bakersfield, CA, area

Our basic purpose is to provide fellowship, foster friendships, refresh veterans and empower newbies! We do that through park days, field trips, holiday parties and other social activities, as well as through conversations and information exchanged on the yahoogroup list.

Among us, you will find a variety of faiths and political beliefs, traditional home educators, Holt-inspired unschoolers, charter school members and private school program users, and independent homeschoolers. We create community through mutual respect — and participation! All activities are organized by volunteer parents. We have no mandatory service requirements, but your ideas, invitations, RSVPs, helping hands, flexible attitude, and input are essential!

We are not an Independent Study Program (ISP), only a support group. Our attendees meet state education law via private school study programs, charter schools or PSA filing. We do not require membership forms or fees. HSLDA membership is not mandated. This is NOT a debating loop. The goal: Community! Lurking is discouraged.

Balanced Relevant and Needed Christian Home Education Support

We are a group of families who have made the decision to educate our children at home, with the help of God rather than the State. We believe that parental involvement and guidance are vital to the well-being of our children, and that God has given us the right and the reason to take this responsibility seriously. Because we have found that we all need help from others from time to time, we have joined together to support, encourage one another, to share information, ideas, and to pray for one another.

CA Christian Private Homeschoolers

This group is a support group for private Christian homeschoolers: those chosing to file a private school affidavit or join a private ISP and not be part of a public school such as a charter school. We believe that this is the best and truest way to educate our families and wish to share with others that hold the same beliefs. We do not wish to offend those who chose otherwise but at the same time do not wish to be offended. All members will be monitored for a short time before having unlimited posting. Repeat offenses or misconduct in the group will result in removal.
Post anything you think will help or inform other homeschooling families in the California central valley area: field trips, event information, articles and curriculum reviews, school items for sale or give away and prayer needs.
Let us lift each other up in prayer and support in love.

Dragontree

In the largest sense, we are a group of parents and children drawn together by our decision to not participate in public schooling. We were founded as an unschooling support group, although all types of homeschoolers are welcome. Understand though, that we will not be spending any time talking about the best way to “make” your child learn a particular lesson or skill. Rather we choose to spend our time discussing what we consider to be the best of real life, that is, the learning that happens (for all of us) when it is meaningful and relevant to a particular individual. None of us will be shocked or dismayed if your child watches television or plays video games- indeed, many of us embrace these technologies as part of a rich life. Television, computers, and video games go hand-in-hand with books, magazines, lectures, films and camping – all to be used and enjoyed

EIE ACADEMY

You will be given the option to participate in a “learning style”
assessment which will provide us with an exact picture of how you and
your children like (prefer) to learn.   We have found that this
assessment has provided numerous families with great success.

We specialize in a less formal approach and encourage creative and
fun activities. Even though we specialize in a more relaxed approach we
do accommodate any homeschool style from unschooling to pure
textbook.  Our ISP is also designed to minimize the amount of required
paperwork. We realize that most homeschool parents really do not want
to spend endless hours doing reports and attending a large number of
meetings. We have geared the program to provide individual
counseling where required and the leeway for the parents to create
their own unique homeschool style to best serve their children.

To facilitate a well rounded educational experience we offer park days,
field trips, yearbook publication, a Boy Scout Troop, Cub Scout Pack,
various clubs and classroom teaching of selected subjects.

EIE is directed by Carolyn Forte, a credentialed teacher, and her
husband Martin, who collectively have over twenty years of teaching,
counseling, and homeschooling experience.

Disney Schooling

Walt Disney refused to separate entertainment from education and challenged the assumption that entertainment has little educational value. He knew that “education was not confined to schools but implicit in the broader realm of popular culture and its own mechanisms for the production of knowledge and values. He also knew that it had to be lively and enjoyable.” (The Mouse That Roared by Henry A. Giroux, p. 18)

As list members, we are always interested in the educational experiences that we can have at Disneyland/CA Adventure. This will be a forum where we can share the educational gems we notice there, and even ideas for at-home follow-up activities.

Members of this group are respectful of other families’ education choices, whether they utilize a public charter or private school and whether they follow a traditional, classical, or unschooling educational philosophy. Most of the members of this group reside in Southwest Riverside County (Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Canyon Lake, Wildomar, Menifee, South Corona, and Temecula and outlying areas).

For Homescshoolers Having Good Clean Fun

This support group, inclusive and non-profit, fosters a rich social life amongst homeschool and small school students by organizing sports leagues, dances, games, Karaoke, bowling, pizza or movie nights. We empower teens to take responsibility for fun: to pick the events, decide upon the participants, set rules and select volunteers on this site, even to set up and clean up.

Parents of teens then supervise and advise to make this group beneficial to all. Parents will help screen members and monitor activities in this inclusive group to assure the safe upbringing of their children.

This club does not permit, for instance, drugs, theft, disrespect for others, liquor, cigarettes, dirty pictures, making-out or other social behavior which is immoral, unacceptable in public settings or illegal. No dating services or dating invitations may be posted on site and people who attempt to break this rule will be removed. Please use the golden rule to guide your actions: avoid spam, foul language, giving out personal info online, disrespect for others etc. The price of freedom is responsibility. Apart from that, we applaud an open exchange of ideas.

For more information, call 408-266-3300. Most events are held at a serious school with a classical curricula and a strong homeschooling ISP, The School of Choice, located at 1718 Andover Lane, in San Jose, near Route 85 and Camden. Liahona

The Liahona Homeschool Support Group was started by Diane Hopkins in 1988 to provide an organized opportunity for Latter-day Saint homeschooling families in Orange County, California to meet together. Since that time, we have continued to meet every Wednesday for field trips, park days, and other activities.

Twice a month we have field trips. Some of the field trips we have done are tours of factories, nature hikes at regional parks and nature centers, museums, visits to navy vessels, the circus, tide pools, tours of local businesses such as fire stations, factories and stores and much more. We are also able to get group discounts – and some aren’t available for individual families. In addition to field trips, we have gone roller skating, bowling, to IMAX Theater shows, school performances at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, and kite flying at the beach. We also do art projects, potluck lunches, science fairs, talent shows and craft days. In addition to these, we also do occasional service projects. Each year we have our traditional “Great Brain Day.” On this day (which we plan in February to coincide with Valentines Day). For this, students share something they have been learning about in which they have become a “Great Brain.” We follow this with decorating Valentine cookies and swapping Valentine cards. The weeks that field trips are not planned, we meet for park days. Moms compare experiences and share ideas while children play and enjoy their homeschooled friends. These days are very valuable!

Although we are predominately LDS, we do not have a “statement of faith” and anyone is welcome. Although most of the activities will be in Northern Orange County, you can live anywhere in the area. Annual dues are $20 per family, but those who plan a field trip get a $10 refund.

LCEHC

After much prayer, Lompoc Christian Educators was begun in late 1991. There was a great need for a Christian support group for homeschoolers, and so the Lord led a group of six homeschooling mothers together with this as their goal. They wanted to be more than an activity group. They wanted to be a group that would know each other well – well enough to know how to pray for each other and encourage each other in their Christian walk and their homeschooling. They saw the need to gather together regularly for that support to happen. LCE joined with a statewide organization (Christian Home Educators Association of California) support network. While they did not want to discourage membership to anyone, they felt it was appropriate for believers to draw apart for fellowship, therefore members are asked to read the Statement-of-Faith from CHEA and be able to whole-heartedly agree with LCE’s Statement of Faith. In addition, as a matter of conviction & in response to requests by CHEA & HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense), we have chosen to serve the specific niche of private home educators within the Lompoc area.

Our weekly park day is 1:00pm until 4:00pm or so on Mondays in Orange at Eisenhower Park. Group members are welcome to post fieldtrips and other activities they would like others to join-in on. It could be as simple as posting that one family is going to a certain museum and would anyone like to come along or it could be an event that requires pre-payment/planning.

This list is interactive so that we can help one another find the resources and support to accomplish our chosen tasks. We wish to support those investigating homeschooling, new to homeschooling, and veterans of homeschooling. This is a place where you will always find something going on.

Please remember when posting or reading that this a diverse group of people and keeping our conversations friendly is very important. Political and/or religious posts are not allowed.

Monterey Bay Military Homeschoolers MBMH

Monterey Bay Military Homeschoolers (MBMH) is a support group for military families who homeschool and live on the Monterey Peninsula. Our mission is to provide an information network for local homeschool families and to coordinate activities and field trips as desired. Our group website is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/montereyhomeschoolmilitary.

It’s wonderful that you are considering joining our list. Should you choose to join, please watch your email for a follow-up message. ***You must reply to it in order to be signed up on the list. If you do not see it, look in your “spam folder.”***

Please help keep this list focused on things that will benefit the largest number of participants by following these rules:

1. Use the email subject line wisely to identify the purpose of your post. We have children of different ages, varied interests, and active schedules. Let the subject line help people to see quickly if a topic is of interest to them.

2. Do not post solicitations on this list including fund-raisers, home business ads, or other sales. Do NOT use the information about list members (addresses, emails) to solicit them unless they have given you there express permission in advance.

3. You may post announcements for local activities of interest to members. Posting about upcoming club or church activities is okay, compelling others to be part of a specific club or particular church is not. A tone of acceptance and respect for differing beliefs goes a long way in differentiating between what is information and what is preaching.

4. If you have a topic that may interest a narrower group of list participants (a project for a certain age group, an activity with a special focus such as a chess group, book club, show and tell), please post your offering to the list and then work out details by personal emails or phone calls.

5. When in doubt, give the benefit of the doubt to your list members. Email does not convey nuances.

BayShore School and Educational

BayShore School and Educational was created in 1992 to fill the need for a private independent study program (ISP) that would accept California homeschooling families of all faiths, races, ethnicities, lifestyles, and edu-political philosophies.

Through the years BayShore has developed the reputation as an indispensable resource for California homeschooling families by offering consultations, guidance, and resources. In 2002, BayShore director Lenore Colacíon Hayes authored a book on homeschooling children with special needs and other learning differences.

BayShore School’s philosophy is to empower each family so that they may develop the best approach by which to nurture their children’s education.

We do not require, nor do we provide, a specific curriculum. Rather, our role is to assist families in their quest to meet the individual needs of each child, while staying within the parameters set forth by the California Education Code.

BayShore School offers resources, guidance, and encouragement to its enrolled families. We do not offer a program for those who need detailed lesson plans or daily supervision. Enrollment with BayShore School requires self-motivation, the desire to release rigid notions about learning and children, and a sense of humour.

OCHEC

What We Believe

1. OCHEC affirms the primacy of parental responsibility for the welfare, socialization and education of their children.

2. OCHEC is dedicated to the education and socialization of children in the natural setting of the family.

3. OCHEC acknowledges that the state has an interest in the education of the young, but asserts that such interest is secondary to the responsibility of parents over education.

4. OCHEC believes that the right to home education includes not merely a right over the place in which education occurs, but a right to determine the content, process and timing of this education.

5. OCHEC holds that student assessment is an integral aspect of the education process, and that therefore parents have the ultimate right and responsibility to determine the methods and instruments to be used.

6. OCHEC holds that the state must exercise its interest in the education of the young by the least intrusive means.

7. OCHEC pursues and recommends, within the framework of its philosophy, a policy of constructive interaction in dealing with officials of the Ministry of Education and local school boards.

Orange Coast Musical Arts

Jesus’ parable of the mustard seed is quite appropriate in the history of Orange Coast Musical Arts. Good things sometimes start small.

OCMA’s beginning was quite simple, very romantic and even a little bit magical. A few very young home-schooled musicians started on recorders with founding director, Donn Hallman, at the Village Bible Church in Garden Grove. They learned how to read music and play some fun songs together. Seven of the students performed for the first time at Wycliffe Bible Translators in 1996.

These young musicians then wanted to play band instruments and thus the little group was on its way to becoming a “band”. The children chose the catchy name the Lets Do Lunch Band because they rehearsed at lunch time. The band had 8 members in 1997, including three flute players, a drummer, two trumpets, and a bass. One of the moms even learned the trombone to help out. It grew to be about 20 members in 1999, adding a French horn, a sax and some more flutes.

Members of the band simply loved to get together and “jam”, but then wanted to share their talents by performing at nursing homes, community centers and “around town”. Mr. Hallman and Mrs. Fujieda guided the young musicians through all kinds of music, including their favorites “Hawaii-5-O” and “Georgia on My Mind”.

Around 1998 interest grew, and a separate beginning band class was started for newer musicians. Since then, OCMA has grown steadily through the years, and even today it is still expanding and offering new classes throughout Southern California.

Incorporated in 2000, the new name of Orange Coast Musical Arts was taken to broaden the appeal to home-schoolers who wanted a quality and budget-friendly instrumental music program for their children.

An intermediate band was formed and then a violin class was added for the string players. The advanced band then changed its name to the Alpha Winds and found itself performing about 15 times a year, all the while attracting more and more musicians.

San Diego Homeschool Center

More and more people are turning to homeschooling for a multitude of reasons that span the gamut from ultra-conservative to super liberal attitudes. But whatever the sensibilities of homeschooling parents, the bottom line is the desire to protect children from an unwanted public school curriculum and/or unwanted social interactions that cannot be avoided in most public schools.

There is no question that some children thrive in traditional school settings. But many young people simply feel stifled in typical structured school environments, especially when teachers focus on discipline and “teaching to the test.”  I remember discussing this with my sister years ago – she said “how will he learn to conform to corporate America if he can’t handle school!” That was the last thing I cared about – my priorities were encouraging creativity and critical thinking.

S F Bay Unschooling Network

SFBUN is a group of families who unschool in the greater SF Bay Area. SFBUN’s mission is to provide in-person support to unschooling families, to create opportunities for unschoolers to play together, make connections, develop close friendships, and enjoy the freedom of living an unschooled life.

SFBUN welcomes unschooling parents and their children currently living in the Bay Area, from all across the unschooling spectrum – “whole life” or “radical” unschoolers, academic unschoolers, those who are transitioning into unschooling, either from school or school-at-home, those who are want to build friendships through regular face-to-face time with unschooling families, and those who just like to hang out with unschoolers!

SFBUN is a haven for unschooling families who are looking for others who believe that children should be treated with respect, who listen to and enjoy being with their kids, and who understand that power over children is not necessary for learning.

We want people to be sure before they join SFBUN that what they are looking for is unschooling support from Bay Area unschoolers (as opposed to just general homeschooling support).

Santa Cruz Christian Homeschoolers

Welcome! This is an online support group for Christian homeschoolers in Santa Cruz County. Families of all Christian denominations are welcome as well as anyone respectful of the Christian nature of this group. One of the most valuable things about a support group is simply becoming aware of other like minded folks who are desiring fellowship. In an effort to facilitate “like minded” families, we advertise ourselves as a Christian group.
This group serves as a forum for posting impromptu activities, field trips and park gatherings. You will also find online support, announcements of events of interest to homeschoolers, a place for exchanging homeschool or other kids stuff locally and of course we always welcome prayer requests. On our calendar you’ll find plenty of homeschool-friendly activities listed in order to make it easy to meet up with others from our group. Questions about learning resources and materials and inquiries to guage group members’ interest in a possible activity are also encouraged.
This group also serves as an outreach tool, since the public may search on “Yahoo! Groups” for homeschooling support in Santa Cruz and be directed to the moderator for more information.
It is my hope and prayer that by sharing our talents, skills, interests and faith we will be able to offer greater opportunities to our children.
May God bless you and your family in your homeschooling journey.

VHE

Our Purpose

  1. To provide a practical, usable service to the homeschool community
  2. To provide an easily accessible avenue for examination of curricula and related items of interest
  3. To provide informative speakers on a broad spectrum of home schooling issues and related areas of home life
  4. And ultimately, to edify the body of Christ

What We Believe

  • There is one God, Creator, sustainer of all things and eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible and inerrant word of God. It is the final and ultimate authority for faith and life, and it is personally relevant and applicable to our lives today.
  • God the Son, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life in human flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. He suffered a vicarious and atoning death, was resurrected, ascended to the right hand of God the Father, and will personally return in power and glory.
  • Salvation is offered as a gift, free to the sinner, through the substitutionary death of Christ on the cross. It is available to all trusting in Jesus Christ, believing on Him, and making Him our Lord and Savior.
  • Our salvation is by grace through faith, plus nothing!

Bay Area Schools In Christ (BASIC)

BASIC (Bay Area Schools In Christ) Homeschool Support Group

Mission Statement:
Bay Area Schools in Christ (BASIC) is a Christian homeschoolers’ support group serving private, independent home schooling families in the vicinity of mid-Peninsula/South Bay, CA. BASIC was created over 20 years ago by Christian homeschooling families to provide Bay Area parents with a means to fellowship with other Christian homeschooling parents in an environment dedicated to Christ. Our goal is to support and encourage both instructors and students through fellowship and sharing of ideas. To do this, BASIC provides a means of communication for Christian parents offering classes, recreational activities, and educational helps to other homeschooling families.

Membership Benefits:
BASIC has two foundational activities that are central to its Mission. They are Teachers Night Out (TNO) and Park Day. TNO is a time for all instructors, both moms and dads, to reflect and share on their strengths and challenges, and to listen to speakers on specific topics for homeschoolers.

Park Day is for parents and children to gather in an outdoor setting, share fun and fellowship, growing and games, trials and trust, without the structure of a classroom.

BASIC runs a Yahoo Group, basiccommunique, for members only, where we share field trips, classes, co-ops, prayer support, and curriculum support. We also publish a monthly electronic newsletter.

BASIC also publishes an annual membership directory.

In all this we embolden our members to hold Christ as their standard. Acts 2:44 “And all that believed were together, and had all things common.”

SDCH is incorporated in California and federally recognized as a 501-C-3 non-profit charitable organization. We are operated by an elected Board of Directors who all serve as volunteers and are each Christian homeschooling parents.

Before you become a member, please feel free to first visit us at one of our Park Days or to browse our public website at www.sdChristianHomeschools.com to get an idea of what we are all about and to see if SDCH would be a good fit for your family. You may also contact us at 858-880-7324 with any questions.

When you are ready to become a member of SDCH, just click this link or the one to the upper left that says Join SDCH and then fill out the on-line member registration form. Then, once your membership payment has been received we will grant you access to the Member’s Only area of this website and you will also have the opportunity to participate in all of our Member’s Only classes, activities and events for homeschoolers.

Marin Homeschoolers

Welcome to Marin Homeschoolers’ Community Page…

If you would like to connect with other homeschooling families for information, support, and activities, we invite you to join our group. Members have many resources available to them — a current family roster; an in-depth message board with forums covering several topics; and a calendar filled with field trips, classes, social gatherings and other events. We are a diverse group and welcoming of all families, regardless of homeschooling style, and we do not favor one method, philosophy, or religion. We have many different structures and beliefs, and all are respected.

In an effort to ensure privacy and safety for our families, anyone seeking to join must first attend one of our weekly Park Days or contact one of our Admins by phone. We would love for you to be a part of our vibrant and growing community! Unless you are referred by a current member, we request that we meet you before we approve your membership application. We will let you know when the next Park Day (or other group event) is scheduled so that members can meet you. Admins are also happy to chat with you on the phone.

If you have been referred by a current member, these steps are not necessary, and you will be approved without a meet & greet, but we would like to get to know you and encourage you to get involved by attending a Park Day soon.

We welcome new families, committed to or even just interested in homeschooling. These procedures are designed for the security of all of our children, including yours.

**Please note that membership to this group is for FAMILIES who are considering or currently homeschooling their children. Vendors’ inquiries, including those from teachers and other providers of services, events, activities, etc. should be made directly to the admins. If you have information about a service or product that you think would interest the homeschool community, we are happy to provide that information to our members. Please send us a brief description that we can post to our discussion forum. Links to web sites and other contact information are appreciated.**

Classical Conversations of Corona

Welcome to Classical Conversations of Corona

We are part of a nationwide network of classical, Christian home educators providing academic programs, events and services to local home school communities, parents and educators. This website supports our campus in the Norco, California area. We believe education finds its purpose and culmination in knowing God and making Him known, and we believe parents are the primary educators of their children; therefore, our purpose is to assist parents in their efforts to provide their children with a well-rounded classical education that is grounded in a biblical worldview.

We offer academic programs based on the classical model of education developed by Leigh Bortins. This classical model is based on the Trivium and requires children to develop grammar, dialectic and rhetoric skills. These skills are often hard to practice at home alone, so Classical Conversations provides children with the opportunity and motivation to learn and practice these skills in an environment with other like-minded home school families. We invite you to visit the campus sites for more information about that campus and to contact the director. If you have general questions about our community you may complete the form to the right. If you would like to learn more about our program visit the official Classical Conversations Website.

Christian Family Schools of Rancho Bernardo

WELCOME TO CFS RB!

Considering homeschooling? Just started recently, or graduated one or two already? No matter where you are on this journey, we’d love to support and encourage you on this exciting and challenging call for your family. Homeschooling is not an easy task, but we’re in it for the long haul, believing that the hearts, minds, and souls of our children are worth investing in and fighting for. If you’re still considering whether or not to homeschool, we’re here to help you and answer any questions you may have about this vitally important decision regarding your children’s education and discipleship. We believe that as you prayerfully consider homeschooling, you’ll find (as we have) that it is one of the most rewarding and spiritually enriching investments you could ever make for your family and for the Kingdom.

You are welcome to visit us at one of our Family Nights, held on the second Friday of each month from September to May. It’s a great opportunity to fellowship with other families and find out more about our group. CFS RB offers various activities for families throughout the year. Join us as we extend grace, encouragement, and support to one another as we disciple our children through homeschooling. You can become a member by clicking on “Request Membership.”

OUR VISION

The vision of CFS RB is to encourage and equip Christian families in their God-given responsibilities to educate their children with a Biblical worldview for the glory of God. We exist to provide fellowship, encouragement, and resources to privately homeschooling Christian famlies with a special emphasis on encouraging fathers to lead their families, mentoring youth as they prepare for adulthood, and having families fellowship together.

Co-op Registration Underway

While registration for co-op classes began on July 25, there is still space available in many classes if you are interested in taking co-op classes at CFS RB. You must be a CFS RB member in order to register, so please allow time for your membership application to be processed (longer times are needed for cash/check payments by mail).

You may view the current schedule by clicking on “Public Class Registration.” Remember to keep checking the schedule as changes may still be made. For more details and dates for the year, click on the “About Co-op” link on the side or email us at rb@cfssd.org with any questions.

Christian Family Schools of Poway

Our Mission

We are Christian, Bible-believing parents who regard our children as gifts from God. We believe that private Christian home education is the best method by which to fulfill our God-given responsibility to raise and train our children. We exist primarily to support privately homeschooling families, but families who homeschool through a charter or other public school are also welcome to join our group.

CFS Poway’s emphasis is to enhance individual families’ abilities to meet their educational goals by providing additional opportunities for students to develop spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. A range of services are provided for families who do not participate in a brick & mortar school, and include a Co-op Classes, School pictures, Yearbook, Spelling Bee, Physical Education programs, Science labs, Field trips, Standardized testing, a resource library and a Year-end Promotion Ceremony and Graduation. The CFS-Poway Board is comprised of privately home schooling parents who volunteer their time to provide leadership to the organization. The board meets monthly to discuss activities, classes and services as well as the group’s policies and issues. Critical to the success of CFS Poway is the participation of parent-volunteers encouraging one another through a network of friends and contacts.

Anaheim Magnolia Christian School

Welcome to Anaheim Magnolia Christian School. We know you have many home education options available in the Orange County and the surrounding areas, so we thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Anaheim Magnolia Christian School is a Christian Private School Satellite Program (PSP) for home educating families. Private Christian Homeschooling through AMCS offers families an opportunity to incorporate Biblical principles and instruction throughout the day, as they pursue an individualized academic plan tailored to meet the needs of each of their children. The great flexibility offered in having a unique schedule and in choosing your own curriculum, enrichment activities, and parent education opportunities, makes each family’s experience truly unique.

The Mission of AMCS is to provide support, encouragement, training and accountability to committed Christian parents desiring to use home education as a primary means of educating their children academically, teaching them life skills, and bringing them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Our Vision is that all of our students, within their abilities and life circumstances, become articulate, well-educated, life-long learners who are increasingly seeking to love God and others, to pursue God’s wisdom, and to effectively influence others for Christ. Robyn & Chuck Nordell, AMCS administrators – info@amcsisp.com
